Review by hannarwatts for Mona Lisa Fondue

I was completely disappointed with our experience at the Mona Lisa. I felt as though I could have easily recreated the same atmosphere and food at home. It was expensive and completely over-rated. We have dined at other fondue establishments and found the Mona Lisa to be nothing in comparison. The food was awful with no seasoning. They served ketchup as one of the dipping sauces which, I myself find that almost offensive when you are spending the kind of money they are charging. The cheese fondue tasted as though it had been sitting in the back and had a horrible texture. The chicken had no seasoning at all and the dipping sauces didn't help it at all. The dessert try consisted of foods that I could go buy at Walmart and cut up myself, there was nothing special about what they served. Other fondue restaurants I have visited always seasoned and prepared their food differently so that you felt that some time and effort went into the food they were serving you. The waiter did not explain the sauces at all so, we didn't know what was what without tasting them ourselves.
