Gosh, I am sorry about your experience. But I would like to have the opportunity to rebut. This was not a wedding reception, with a sit down dinner, first it was ONLY appitizers and soft drinks with a per person amount of $7.00, inclusive, since cake had already been served at the wedding. However, this was not what was related to the guests, and the food was piled high on the plates, leaving little or nothing for the remainder of the guests. Second, the wedding couple chose the seating, upstairs and outside. It followed the outdoor wedding theme. There was additional seating upstairs but the unhappy guest and her group chose to sit outside as they wanted to sit together and not at a table with people they did not know. MBI offered to move the group inside but insisted they stay as a group and not "take over" the entire restaurant. I had a conversation with Tony, the groom, and he stated that it was the guest and not our problem. Again, I am sorry the experience was not a good one. We spent a great deal of time trying to meet the Bride and Groom's budget. As a side note, the Bride and Groom were last to leave several hours later, and the person who paid gave us complements on the food and the service. We strive to be customer service oriented, serving good quality food, reasonable prices and great service.
