Review by Portland Paddler for Adams Mountain Café

I don't know which was more disappointing - the meal or the service. I was looking forward to something special from the Smoked Salmon Enchiladas, but found them bland and under seasoned. When our waiter cleared the plate with the food barely touched, she didn't even ask if there was a problem. When she asked if I wanted the food boxed up, and I said "definitely not", she again didn't even inquire about it. One of my dining partners found a fair-sized wood chip in his lasagna. When we mentioned it to the waiter, she simply offered "Oh, sorry 'bout that. They use wood chips in the kitchen." A few minutes later she came back to tell us that she would not charge for that diner's beer. I'm not that hard to please, but did not have a good experience at Adams. Will not go again. Will not recommend it.
