Review by Aeon65 for Ichiban Suehiro Japanese Restaurant

I really want to like this place, its close to where I live, and I gave them several chances. I ordered takeout, and the wait was very long, despite the place being nearly deserted. The food was mediocre, tho overpriced. The worst was the salad that had dressing that was too watery. Also, it always seems to take a long time for the food, even if I'm the only one there, and ordering takeout. They only had 1 person doing the cooking, so I had to wait until she was finished with the one table that had other customers. Considering the very long wait, they could have at least offered me tea & miso soup while I waited, but didn't. They weren't friendly, got no apology for the long wait or even a thank you as I left. Its been here for at least 15 years, amazingly enough, tho I wonder how much longer they will be in business if they keep this up. I've decided I will no longer give them my business, as they don't seem to appreciate it.
