Review by Lauragreene for Bon Tons Café

Walk in the door and you think you will be getting a breakfast not to forget, well, yes, a meal not to forget. We were told by our server that the sausage gravy was excellent, well, it was a 1 out of 10; there was no flavor at all. As for the server, I asked for a scramble which included cheese, onion and ham. What I was served was scrambled eggs with none of the mixer I asked for; rather the eggs were so over cooked that when they put the 3 micro pieces of ham on top of the dish with melted cheese atop, and no onions, I thought to myself, the server could care less about what my request was. So, I asked for the dish to be redone and the dish came out with half cooked onion atop the mixer. When I said I wasn't going to pay for it, they said, well, my manager won't let us do that, so you need to pay the bill. I refused and ended up paying 75% of the bill. No one cared about customer service and no one cared that I didn't get what I had ordered. For this, I will be sure to tell all my friends in the surrounding area of Boulder, Denver, and Longmont that this was not a good place to stop and eat for breakfast. They are out of control and obviously must have had a change in ownership or cooks and hired help.
